Q1: Will this filter kit fit cameras other than Insta360 GO Ultra / GO 3 Ultra?
A: No. This kit is designed only for Insta360 GO Ultra / GO 3 Ultraand will not fit GO 3S, X4, X5, or other cameras.
Q2: Will using these CPL and ND filters reduce my image quality?
A: The filters use double-sided multi-layer coated optical glass to keep images sharp with minimal color shift. As long as the glass is clean and properly mounted, most creators see better control, not worse quality.
Q3: How do I choose between ND8, ND16 and ND32 in real shooting?
A: Use ND8 for slightly bright or overcast days, ND16 for normal sunny outdoor shooting, and ND32 for extreme brightness like snow or beach at midday. If highlights are still blown, step up to the next ND level.
Q4: What does the CPL actually improve on my GO Ultra footage?
A: The CPL reduces reflections on water, glass, car panels and wet roads while deepening skies and foliage. This makes your footage look clearer and more vivid straight out of camera.
Q5: Can I use these filters in rain or near splashes? Are they waterproof?
A: The filters are water-resistant and scratch-resistant, suitable for light rain, splashes and sweaty, humid conditions. For real underwater use, combine with a proper waterproof housing and test in shallow water first.
Q6: Do the filters affect stabilization or my usual mounts and POV rigs?
A: The kit is compact and lightweight, so it should not noticeably affect electronic stabilization or common mounts when only one filter is used. Make sure the filter is fully seated before recording.
Q7: Can I stack multiple filters together for a stronger effect?
A: We do not recommend stacking filters on GO Ultra. Stacking can cause vignetting, extra reflections and unnecessary weight in front of the tiny lens.
Q8: How should I clean and store the filters to protect the coatings?
A: Use a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner, avoiding tissues or rough fabrics. Store the filters in a dry, dust-free case to keep the coatings effective over time.
Q9: Does this kit really protect the original GO Ultra lens?
A: Yes. The coated glass acts as a sacrificial layer in front of the lens, helping to shield it from dust, micro-scratches and light impacts while being easier and safer to wipe clean.
